Mirissa Hotel

A three-floor hotel renovation on the southern coast of Sri Lanka, overlooking the sea. We developed the full room layout across multiple typologies, alongside a complete material selection and application for every space. Facing the ocean, the palette carries soft touches of blue — never dominant, always a whisper. The real protagonist is the land: terracotta, natural cement, lime plaster and resins ground the spaces in the texture of Sri Lanka itself. Bamboo details and local patterns weave the territory into every surface, creating interiors that feel rooted, tactile and quietly refined.

We supported Maap throughout the launch of their first pop-up store in Shanghai, managing the project over six months from concept to execution.
